Security
Security is an important aspect for database management system. All database passwords are stored in a secure manner and are encrypted with an AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). Database credentials are decrypted only when connecting to the database server.
We encourage our customers to properly configure their database for Datazenit. We also advise them to create a new user for connections used with Datazenit using a strong password, and allowing access only from a specific set of IP addresses. Datazenit itself has an optional IP address whitelist feature which allows users to login only from certain IP addresses or networks.
